The full walkthrough

Six quiet tools, and one record of your own days.

Marlune is a daily companion for perimenopause and menopause. You log about twenty seconds a day, and everything else on this page is built on top of that.

About the screens on this page Every screen below shows the real Marlune interface, filled with sample data rather than a real person's health record.

Inside the app

What Marlune actually does

Six features, each one built on the same short daily record. Scroll to move through them.

Daily check-ins

A short set of questions on a five step scale. How your hot flashes, sleep, mood, anxiety, brain fog and energy were, plus any context tags for what shaped the day, and an optional note if you want one. It takes about twenty seconds. Morning or night, whichever suits you.

  • 26 symptoms across five groups, and you can add your own.
  • Context tags for poor sleep, alcohol, exercise, stress, caffeine, travel, hydration and social days.
  • Optional free text note attached to the day.

Personal insights

Patterns drawn only from your own check-ins. Marlune deliberately says nothing until it has enough of your days to be honest about, so a pattern needs a minimum number of days on both sides of a comparison before it appears at all. The first ones typically show up after about two weeks.

  • Comparisons across your own logged days, never anyone else's.
  • Observations, not diagnoses, and never proof of cause.
  • Your full history and trends stay visible while you wait.

Juno, your private AI companion

Juno is an AI companion who can see your own patterns when she answers. Her replies are generated by an AI model, not written by a clinician, and they can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as general supportive information and nothing more. Every conversation carries a reminder that Juno does not give medical advice.

  • Ask in your own words, at 3am if that is when it matters.
  • Your conversations are never used to train any AI model.
  • Three conversations a day without a subscription, unlimited on Marlune+.

Doctor visit prep

Appointments are short, and a half remembered summary is a poor way to spend them. Marlune turns the record you already have into a doctor-ready PDF summary you can bring with you, so the conversation starts from something written down.

  • Built from your own check-ins, cycle dates and treatment logs.
  • Exported as a PDF you control and share yourself.
  • A record to talk about, not a diagnosis and not a recommendation.

Symptom and cycle tracking

Period start and end dates, cycle length, and the gaps between cycles, sitting beside the symptoms you logged on those same days. HRT tracking is entirely optional and the app works exactly the same if you never turn it on.

  • Cycle dates and gaps, kept alongside your symptom history.
  • Treatment notes for HRT or anything else you choose to record.
  • Nothing is measured by your phone. Marlune records only what you tell it.

An evidence-based library

Plain reading about what is happening and why, written to inform rather than to alarm. It is general education, not advice about your particular situation, and it will never tell you to start, stop, or change a treatment.

  • Short pieces you can finish in one sitting.
  • Written for adults in perimenopause and menopause.
  • The complete library is included with Marlune+.

How it fits together

One short habit, and everything else follows

Nothing in Marlune works without the record, and the record only takes about twenty seconds a day to keep.

You log the day

Six questions on a five step scale, the context tags that fit, and a note if you feel like writing one. About twenty seconds.

The record gets long enough

After about two weeks there are usually enough of your own days for a comparison to be worth showing. Until then, Marlune stays quiet.

You have something to take with you

Patterns to look at, a companion who can see them, and a doctor-ready summary when the appointment comes around.

Your data

Menopause data is not marketing data

You are being asked to write down your sleep, your moods, your cycle and your symptoms. That deserves a straight answer about where it goes, not a padlock icon.

Never sold

Your health data is never sold. Not to data brokers, not to insurers, not to researchers, not to anyone, in any form, ever.

Never advertising

It is never used to target ads, build ad profiles, or for any other use-based data mining. Marlune runs no ads and carries no advertising networks.

Never AI training

Your Juno conversations are never used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's. Every processor we work with is contractually barred from it.

Encrypted, and not in iCloud

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your personal health information is not stored in iCloud.

A short list of processors

An AI provider for Juno's replies and insight wording, cloud hosting and database providers for storage, and Apple with a subscription provider for subscriptions. You can ask us the current name of any of them at any time. That is the complete list.

Delete everything yourself

One control in the You tab removes your entire account record, with copies in encrypted backups purged within 30 days.

Marlune is not a medical device

Marlune does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a wellness and education app. It is not a medical device, it has not been cleared or approved by the FDA, the MHRA, or any other regulator, and nothing on this website should be read as implying otherwise.

Marlune does not measure any physiological value using your phone's sensors. It does not read blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose, blood oxygen, or anything else from your device, and it makes no accuracy claim about any health measurement anywhere on this site, because there is no measurement to make a claim about. It records what you tell it and reports patterns back to you. Those patterns are observations about your own logged days. They are not diagnoses, they are not proof of cause, and they should not be used to start, stop, or change any treatment.

If this is an emergency, do not use Marlune. Call 911, or your local emergency number if you are outside the United States, or go to your nearest emergency department. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the United States to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
